Broadway BayBay

I love driving to Time Square to see a Broadway Musical. Besides the bus trips, there have been several Saturdays were a friend & I will be sitting around, bored out of our minds, trying to figure out what to do with our night & somehow we end up doing 80 on the turnpike on our way to New York for an 8 o'clock show. Road trips are the bomb.

So far I've seen: The Phantom of the Opera
(twice), Les Miserables (twice), Aida, The Full Monty, Crazy For You, Mamma Mia!, The Kiss of the Spider Woman, West Side Story, Grease, Nunsense, Cats, Miss Saigon (twice, but once was in London), Footloose, Beauty & the Beast (3 times), A Funny Thing On The Way To The Forum

Ok So Maybe I Have Some Issues

I don't know how interesting this is but;

I'm a dyslexic who loves to read.

I'm not afraid to start singing a Broadway tune in a crowd if I feel its lyrics properly illustrate the moment at hand...well, any tune for that matter...as long as it fits!

I'm shy but no one believes me.

I can pinch with my toes.

I don't care if I'm a grown ass adult or not; I still put my Christmas List to Santa on my frig every year.

I love to travel because, well, lets face it...vacations rock. On my short list, before I die have to get to: Australia, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Alaska, Hawaii

I love Hockey. I can't help it; I was raised on organ music. Plus it has just enough violence to keep me entertained.

I lived with a Ghost until I moved out of my mother's house & bought my own.

Groovy quotes

-"The details of my life are quite inconsequential...very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with a low-grade narcolepsy & a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15 year old prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess & the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag & beaten with reeds...pretty standard really. I suggest you try it."~ Dr. Evil

-"#7. The radio ad, 'Hi, I'm Jeff Healey from the Jeff Healey Band. Don't drink & drive. I don't!' Well, I hope you don't drive sober either Mr. Healey. Your BLIND for God's sake!"~
Adam Sandler (Ten Things That Piss Me Off...by Adam Sandler)

-"You leave me little notes on my pillow. Told you a-hundred-fifty-eight times, I cannot stand little notes on my pillow. 'We are all out of cornflakes. F.U.' Took me three hours to figure out 'F.U.' was Felix Unger!"~
Oscar Madison (The Odd Couple)

-"For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?' Here's an update for you: nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize, 'Its not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage'."~ Andy Rooney

-Q: My boyfriend is great in bed, but he's so insecure about whether he's pleasing me. He constantly asks if it feels ok, if he's touching me right. Its a total mood killer. How can I reassure him & shut him up?
A: Sit on his face.

Philadelphia Daily News

"According to the map...we've only gone 12 inches."~Harry (
Dumb & Dumber)

Sean:
"Dude, he totally stole that van!"
Gus: "Great! Now we got a Mummy on the loose & the son of a bitch knows how to drive a stick?!?"

Speak Spinelli To Me

-"Elizabeth's baby is a Stone Cold special" ~Damien Spinelli to Lulu Spencer (3/14/07)

-"I'm sorry, but...Big Daddy Stone Cold is definitely...this baby's Big Daddy." ~Damien Spinelli to Lulu Spencer (3/15/07)

-"You are a chick magnet, as they say. I mean, you're a true triple threat. You possess the secret. Ok, I mean you can wield your power over a woman's heart...her body...her soul. You know...so who else would I go to for wisdom visa vi the blonde one? I mean...just give me a little something about...I mean, give me the secret to your mojo!" ~Damien Spinelli to Jason Morgan (3/29/07)

-"Let's face it. You are...lethalness personified. You can level evil doers with a single punch. Its not easy for me...you have...I don't have your steely glare...or muscles big enough to fit in your average air duct...& I'm not comfortable carrying heat." ~Damien Spinelli to Jason Morgan (4/11/07)

Groovie GH Quoates

Liason Quates:
-"Don't try to figure out Carly, ok. You think normal, she thinks backward."~ Jason Morgan to Elizabeth Webber
-"If I was in charge of how people talk, everybody would just shut up."~ Jason Morgan
-"SHUT UP about Elizabeth already! You don't know what you're talking about. You talk about Elizabeth like she's nothing...like she's not good enough for me. But you know what? It would make me happy to have Elizabeth and her boys to come home to. But don't worry, Carly...it's not going to happen...because they wouldn't be safe. I'd rather live alone for the rest of my life than risk anything ever happening to them! So you know what? You can act up all you want...throw your tantrums, defy Sonny, defy me...but don't EVER talk about Elizabeth like that again to my face."~ Jason Morgan to Carly Jax

-Jason:
I should have figured that Elizabeth would try to reach me. She's trying to be tough & brave because that's what she thinks that people expect. This whole bomb thing, I know, scared her. And every time she's scared or confused or mad, she calls me.
Sonny:
Yeah, she mentioned that.
Jason:
Yeah...not that I do much. Ya know, I take her for rides, sometimes I just listen...but it seems to help. A light goes on inside her &...she smiles & it seems that she..............I gotta get to the warehouse. (January 2000)

-Elizabeth:
"But we did use protection...just wasn't very effective."
Emily:
"Oh no. What...Endoros?"
Elizabeth:
Ahhh, yeah. Jason...uh...I guess he's loyal to the family brand." (10/4/06)

General...uh...General Hospital Quotes:

-"You didn't write this. There are big words."~
Luke Spencer (to Scottie Baldwin)
-"They'd never have us in hell...we'd end up running the place."~ Helena Cassidine
-"Is this a private evil conspiracy, or can anyone join?"~ Ned Ashton
-"Well, I can't vouch for the whereabouts of your heart...but I have a pretty good idea where your brains are located."~
Monica Quartermain (to Alan Quartermain)
-"I don't need to pay you for that abuse. I get it free from my family."~ AJ Quartermain
-"What the hell did you do to him as a child? Refuse to take him to soccer practice?"~
Faison (to Helena Cassidine after Stefan Cassidine left the room)
-"It may have absolutely zippity to do with do da."~
Luke Spencer
-"I should have killed you the first time I tried to kill you."~ Alan Quartermain
-"This is a high crime area...& I plan on stealing someone's heart tonight."~ Ned Ashton
-"Its my house! I'll grope my husband if I want to!"~ Monica Quartermain
-"She's the human equivalent of fingernails on a chalkboard."~
Alexis Davis (about Carly Corinthos)
-"Your family nearly froze the world & you can't find the air conditioner."
Luke Spencer to Stefan Cassidine
-"Just hold this & try to remember being a virgin."~ Felicia Jones (to Lucy Coe while impersonating nuns)

    Working like a dog.

Its been 12-14hr days for weeks now. And today I got back from 3 days in our Ohio office.

I've been sitting here trying to get caught up on TC & at the same time dreading finding out what's piled on my desk when I go in tomorrow.

But on the up side, the overtime checks are fabulous.
